Ezekiel wandered around the falls, scuffing the souls of his bear feet on the rocks around the falls. It didn't bother him any, considering the bottoms of his feel were like leather at this point which was to his liking anyways, it made it so he never actually required shoes. He finally sat down, folding his white robe under him so he didn't sit directly on the ground.
He growled at the picturesque beauty around him, angry at the inactivity. He had been pushed aside as no one seemed to have need for someone skilled in battle now. He drew his short sword from the sheathe on his back, holding it out in front of him and closing his eyes. "That's nice." He says to himself, smiling at the feel of the swords' weight in his hands.

She hadn't been to Angel Falls in some time. Between school and life, she felt the occasional need to escape and 'spread her wings' a little. She was sitting on a small ledge hanging over the lake at the bottom of the waterfall. Her legs and dress hanging off, her feet barely touching the water. Her hair hanging over her shoulders as she hummed softly to herself, barely aware of the presence of the other. She always enjoyed the silence and peacefulness here.
At least it beat running all the time.

Ezekiel slowly opens his eyes as his senses alert him to another presence nearby, one that wasn't moving so there was no need to react quickly. His eyes scan the area when they open and he sees a solitary figure near the falls. Dismissing them as unimportant he re-sheathes his sword and sighs, "Can't even be alone when I've got nothing to do." he grumbles to himself as he looks to the water, his eyes naturally flicking back to the female often as he finds it impossible to throw off his training to always be vigilant, for an enemy is usually where one would least expect.

Nuriko sighed, her black wings moving just slightly as she adjusted herself. Looking at herself now, she realized she was wearing the same outfit she had worn when she was an angel of death. She was very confused as to how that happened. But she shrugged it off as slightly unimportant. She looked up at the full moon and smiled. She was always at her strongest during the full moon.
She raised her eyes and started watching the other person, who seemed to have been alerted to her presence and was watching her on and off. He seemed to have alot of military history. And an angel. They just keep showing up. I wonder if it means something. Hopefully he's not after me. she thought to herself as she watched him quietly.
Watching him, she could sense without even trying that he was MUCH younger than she was. In angel terms, he was but a child compared to her. Maybe that was why he was able to be so militaristic. She chuckled to herself. When you become as old as she has, fighting seems much less important, unless its for something you truly believe in. But he seemed slightly bothered by her appearance.
"I'm not bothering you, am I?" She asked softly.

Ezekiel looked up at her with disdain when she talked, just wanting to be left to his angst. "You weren't." He says shortly as he looks her over again. She seemed somewhat familiar, from something that he was told once, but had been long dismissed as unimportant and forgotten. "You need something from me? Seems like very few do right now." He says, opening up just slightly given that he had no real reason to act as he was to her. "Sorry, just not really in a great mood right now."

She smiled. "Oh it's not a problem. I've just never seen you before, and this is usually where I go to escape from everything. And you seemed bothered." she said, shrugging and going back to watching her surroundings. She stretched her black wings, still not very noticeable in the dark, even though they reached a full 7-foot span. Her wings were darker than her hair, which was also black, but had highlights in it due to the moonlight. Unless you could see well in the dark, all you could really see when gazing at her was a mass of black and white. Even her eyes were as dark as the midnight sky. She sighed, resting her chin on her knee while her other foot continued to skim the water. "It's ok. No offense was taken. You seem like you're still used to taking orders..." she hesitated a little toward the end, staring at the water.

"I am bothered." He said in a slightly nicer tone than before. He stops as she speaks again, catching a hidden meaning there. "Still used to? Have we met before? How do you figure I'm 'still' used to taking orders?" He quests her, feeling like there's more than she's saying to him.

She blinked. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to insult you. It's just... " she sighed a little, her worry showing in her voice. " I've been around for a VERY long time. I've seen enough archangels to know how it goes. You seem at the point where you don't really know what to do with yourself if you aren't following orders." she stopped. She hoped he didn't take offense to what she said. She sighed again. "Hell, what am I saying. I'm so used to running that the fact that I've been in the same place for the past few years is driving me insane..." she mumbled to herself.

Ezekiel laughs loudly, standing up before being able to talk. "Insult me? Little one, I highly doubt you could ever insult me with anything you could come up with. I was just slightly confused, that's all. It seemed like you were trying to imply something with the way you spoke, that is all, nothing more." He smiles at the other angel, showing the first bit of emotion so far, but only for a second before his features returned to his rocky glare. "And yes, I do enjoy following the orders of others. But in all it's really for the thrill of battle. The ability to test my skill, my mettle, my ability, against another. It seems to awaken a part of me that rests at all others times. It's a thrill of battle." He sits back down, looking up at her as his eyes flick around the area.

"Little one?" she laughed, standing up for the first time. "That must have been about my height..." she said looking at him. He was indeed a few inches taller than she was. And she supposed that it may be possible that he was misjudging her age as well. She didn't exactly look her age. Far from it, even in angel standards, she was very misleading about her age. It was nearly impossible for some to judge how old she was. Most said it was her eyes that gave her age away. She watched his expressions change and realized that he must not have been used to smiling. She walked slowly toward a patch of the lake that was sandy, watching the water. She tried not to move too much closer to him, she didn't want to make him jumpy. He seemed jumpy enough as it is without her giving him more reason to do so.

"Yes... you are shorter than me. Is this a problem?" He asks with a slight air of superiority. Watching her move away he sighs and half-stares at the water again, boredom again taking him from his momentary respite. "Is there anything you want from me? I really can't be that interesting to you. As you said, you've been around for quite some time, so I'm sure you've seen much more interesting things then myself." He rolls his eyes and waits for her reply.

She laughed again. "Of course it's not a problem. I'm kinda used to it. While I may be tall for a female, most male angels tend to be really tall. At least I haven't met one shorter than me yet." then she watched him for a few more minutes. He looked very bored.
"I actually find you very interesting. While being around for over 7000 years has given me the opportunity to see alot of things, that doesn't make you any less interesting. Try living a normal human life as long as I have. That is boring." she said, moving closer to him a little, but not much.

He laughs, and oddly feels open to this other angel, although even he has no idea why. "There was one in one of the battle training places... Camrael. Never seen anyone, male or female, more tiny than this poor guy." He stops and smiles remembering the past. "Course he was on of the best in the class. Could run circles around you and you'd be on the ground before you had a chance to even see the little bastard."
He raises an eyebrow at her finding him interesting. "You find me... interesting? Phew... you must be more bored than I am." He says with a short laugh. "Living a human life? Why would you do that? Sounds like... just... torture I suppose."

She smiled, listening to him. She laughed at his story of the short one. When she heard him asking about why she lived as a human, she stopped, grinning a little, but had a sad look in her face.
"I don't have much of a choice. It's a long story. Needless to say I'm not welcome there anymore." she said, staring into the water as if seeing something beyond it. She wasn't sure how safe it was to tell him the full story yet. She still didn't know which side he was on. One wrong word and she'd have half of heaven coming after her again. Not to mention she was pretty sure if he decided it was worth it to take her down, she'd have alot of problems.

"Sounds like you've got some problems." He says while staring out at the lake with her. "At least it's quiet here, nothing to do... but quiet." He sighs softly and shrugs. "I guess everyone has their own little spot to fill. And at least you're still welcome here, not like they kicked you outta the falls, huh?"
