This was probably one of the events she looked forward to the most. Something about everyone dancing around the room in ball gowns and a mask made her remarkably happy. She often wondered if it was because everyone's face was covered, so you couldn't really tell who was who. But even taking that into account, she stood out. Her affinity for the raven had shown even in her ballroom attire. Her long black hair was partially tied back in black ribbons, the rest flowing freely down her back. Her strapless black ballgown was elegant enough for anyone to notice, and she had made her black masquerade mask herself, though most would never be able to tell. It also had raven feathers adorning it.
She gazed quietly over the crowded room, her eyes scanning the people as she walked around silently. She had been considering whether she should come here for a while. Though as far as she knew, most of her family wasn't too fond of formal gatherings. She felt safe here. She knew Mihari would be here, Mihari always loved an excuse to dress up. Hikari had expressed interest in going, but that was all she knew about at the moment. Which she took some comfort in. She wondered if Kaiden would be there. Then her mind fell on Nocturne. She found herself amused by the notion of him blending in perfectly with this crowd. He always did like masks. But Kaiden never seemed to like overly large gatherings of people. At least as much as she remembered. She smiled softly, raising one gloved hand up to her face. She brushed a small amount of her bangs out of her face, marveling at how much she missed wearing black satin gloves. She then clasped her hands in front of her and continued walking slowly through the dancing crowd.
