Hana sat at a nearby table with a book open. She gazed at the pages text and nodded at its meanings. A simple romantic novel, nothing to dirty but, at the same time held great moments of comedy. Around her other students studied, however a small group of students were making a small ruckus, mainly a group that had no classes that period. Hana, on the other hand, was actually the Librarians assistant at that time. Her duties were done and she was now able to partially enjoy her novel. She eyed the students, two boys and two girls. She sighed standing up looking at a nearby cart that had some books in it that were returns. They weren't for her to do, but, since she wasn't able to fully enjoy her novel she felt she should take care of them. She arose from her seat and grabbed the cart and the group became hushed. They whispered under their breath about her.
"Look at her... She screams creepy sometimes!"
"I don't know to much about her, but her brother is the definition of HOT!"
"He may be but she sure isn't to much to look at..."
The group began to snicker quietly as she walked by, she ignored it. She heard the comments, they weren't being to subtle about it. As she stockked her books up they continued to make judgmental remarks at her, digging deep.
"To be honest I never see her hanging out with any boys here. She is one lonely loser to want to be an aide here..."
"You're right! I never see her with anyone other than her brother and that creepy red-eyed girl... Uhmmm Lillith I think it was?"
"Maybe shes into girls... Oh man that'd be so cool!"
"Nah, shes to uptight looking to be into girls... But, then again I dunno what guy would want her..."
Hana stocked her last book and took the cart with her walking past the table. As she did, one of the boys stuck his foot out and tripped her. The cart hit the ground making quite a loud bang. She landed on her hands and knees. At this point, she was struggling not to burst out into either anger or tears. The librarian looked over at her and frowned, looking quite angrily at the group who looked rather amused at Hana being on the ground.
"YOU FOUR!" she screamed. The Librarian's name was Kotoko Aname, an elderly one, the age of 81. The group jumped and looked at her, and the boys looked rather nervous. "You four find another place to vandalize... Another place to mess with the help..." she said giving them an evil eye. The group stood up nudging Hana as they walked past, not even offering to help her up. As they left she stood up, wiping the trail of tears from her face. She picked the cart up and replaced it where she had received it. Kotoko smiled at the girl who refused to look at her.
"Liwa... Why do you listen to these children? Why do you let those kinds of people break you?" she said, Hana looking away. She sighed, "Its... Complicated." she said wiping more tears from her eyes. "Im different. I didn't grow up in regular schools..." as she said that Kotoko smiled. "Child, that isn't why you are picked on..." she said as Hana looked at her with a sad, yet curious, face. "You are picked on, my dear, because they know nothing of you. You are beautiful Hana, they don't think so only because of either two things: Fear or Jealousy." she said as Hana looked back towards the floor.
"It seems like regardless... I still lose in that situation." she said closing her novel, inserting her bookmark where it belongs. Kotoko smiled, placing a hand on the girls shoulder, "Dear, let me tell you a story about myself that few other than my daughter knows..." she said sitting next to her. "I am a widow, my husband died long ago from Cancer... Back then it wasn't something easily found or curable. Bless his soul." she said as Hana looked at her, listening. "Before he died, I had another child. Beautiful little girl, Black hair and the pretties green eyes..." she said sighing. "That little one is no longer with us though, she died when she was young due to a terrible accident..." Hana looked down and sighed.
"Her name was Hannah..." Kotoko said smiling. Hana looked back at the woman in slight shock, unsure what to say. "I would say if she had been with us today... She would look like you. Just as beautiful and charming to have around." she said smiling taking Hana's hand. "Remember dear, no matter what people say... You are always someone's Angel..." she said smiling lightly at her. Hana smiled and nodded, "Thank you... Mrs. Aname... That means alot to me..." she said looking at the clock. It was almost time to go home, but as her tradition, she always helped Kotoko home as it wasn't to far from the campus as well as she loved speaking with her.
"Its time to lock up I suppose... Might as well head home. Are you ready ma'am?" she said standing up. The elder smiled and nodded, "Alright everyone! Pack up your things! Closing time!" she yelled as the few remaining students packed their things and left. Hana grabbed her school bag and Kotoko's things. "Alrighty, lets go." she said walking with the elder outside.
The day was beautiful and cool. The air smelled amazing, like fresh Fish Dumplings. Kotoko smiled as she walked with her pupil through the streets until her home was reached. Kotoko smiled then looked around at Hana. "Oh my... I think I forgot my purse..." she said looking rather embarrassed. Hana looked at the things she had grabbed and groaned.
"Aw man... Ok, don't worry, I will grab it for you, wait here." she said smiling running back towards the campus. When she came back inside she saw Kaiden standing at the door to the Library looking rather confused. "Huh... I guess I came a bit late..." he said sighing. Hana giggled, "Well, I would assume so..." as she spoke his head turned and smiled, "Yeah, I was running late from practice..." he said shrugging.
She smiled and opened the door for him, "C'mon make it quick or Ms. Aname will get really mad...!" she said as he rushed in to grab a text book, she snagged the Librarian's purse and sighed. "Ok. Great! Got it! C'mon Kaiden gotta go!" she said walking outside and him following. She walked down the sidewalk, hearing sirens as she walked. Then she reached near where she was before There she saw a paramedic and a group of people. She rushed over to see Ms Aname laying there, not breathing.
"Ms Aname!" she screamed as the assistant paramedic held her back. "Whoa! Hold on! You know her?" he asked as she shook her head fast, "Yes! Im a friend! What happened?!" she said starting to tear up. The assistant looked back and sighed, "The elder has suffered a heart attack. From what we don't know but you need to let us take her now ok? You can come uip to the hospital downtown but do NOT panic... We are going to do everything we can to make sure she will be okay. Do you understand?" he said and she nodded. The ambulance loaded up, Kotoko inside. It rushed off leaving Hana their midst the crowd, in tears. She sobbed for a bit then looked across the street, seeing Willow sitting there. She was leaned up against a wall, looking at her. A rather interesting look on her face.
"How sad... I hope she is going to be okay..." she said walking into a nearby alley. Hana followed her inside and stood there watching her. "What did you do to her?!" she screamed, Willow stopped and turned to her. "How naive. You see me anywhere and you assume I did something." she said moving her hair out of her eyes. "That's because your family has made more trouble than most I know. You specifically." Hana said giving her a angry look.
"Well, princess, I didn't do anything. If you want to know so badly ask HER. She was the one that looked like she saw a ghost..." with that she walked away. Leaving Hana there in that alley. Hana sat there confused and chased after Willow only to realize she dissipated into thin air as usual. She ran home afterwards, bursting inside looking for her mother. Tears running down her face. Kaiden was in the living room when he heard her screaming.
"MOOOOM!" she screamed holding in sobs, "W-Where are you!?"

It was mid afternoon. School was letting out and the town center was starting to look rather crowded as the students started leaving the high school. One person in particular seemed to be gaining alot of the girls attention, though he ignored them. He had short silver hair, and was wearing what looked like tan dress pants and a half-way buttoned up white dress shirt. His vibrant purple eyes scanned the town square from his seat on the fountain before standing up and walking toward the large mansion next to the high school. He had just finished signing up for the high school, but he had one last errand to run.
He stopped at the door, knocking. A woman with long black hair and midnight blue eyes answered the door. She eyed the man for a second, then her eyes went wide in shock.
"Tomoe...?" The man grinned. "It's been a while Nuriko." Nuriko smiled, holding her door open for him. As he walked in she closed the door behind her and lead him into the study. She sat down, him sitting on the other side of the sofa. She looked at him.
"To what may I owe this visit?" she tilted her head curiously. He closed his eyes, resting his elbows on his knees and leaning down. "Looking for a change of scenery. Things have been a little too hectic in the old neighborhood. So I figured I'd ask you for help."
Nuriko closed her fingers together, thinking for a minute. "Well, I have a few ideas if you aren't against tending shrines and cooking. You still cook amazingly?" Tomoe chuckled a little. "From what people tell me." Nuriko smiled. "Good. Lemme make a few phone calls. My friend Mihari is the priestess of the local shrine, which is just outside the borders of town. I can get you an apartment in the same complex she lives in, and to help pay me back for the apartment, you can work at my maid cafe as a cook. They've been looking for a few good ones lately."
Tomoe smirked. "Always have a plan, don't you." Nuriko smiled. "What can I say... It's a talent. One question though. You don't mind if I tell Mihari about you being a fox demon, do you? I figured if you're going to be helping with the shrine, you won't be in disguise the entire time." Tomoe nodded. "It's fine. She should probably know anyways, I don't want to give her any reason not to trust me..."
Nuriko giggled. "It's not Mihari I'm worried about. One sec." she pulled out her cell, dialing a number. Then she smiled as the person on the other line answered. "Hey mihari. I'm doing good. Hey, can you and placid come over for a few minutes? I have a favor. Yeah, I'm in my study when you get here. Thanks." She hung up, placing her phone back in her pocket and smiling. Soon after, she heard the front door open, followed by a girl screaming her name. Nuriko smiled a little, before calling out to the girl.
"I'm in the study, Hana. What's up?"

Hana had ignored Kaiden and headed up the stairs. She wiped her eyes and walked into the study seeing a new face. "Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't know we had company..." she said looking at him, his eyes giving her an odd, yet warm, feeling. "Ms. Aname had a heart attack while I was walking her home... I will be at the hospital for awhile... I just wanted to come home to make sure you knew where I would be." she said looking back at the new face. "I'm sorry for being rude, my names Hana. I'm her daughter..." she said bowing and standing up looking into his eyes, slightly turning red, not really sure why. "Ok, I am going to head out, I should be back soon..." she said rushing out of the room. As she walked out the door Tori walked in the gate. He could tell she had been crying. "Something wrong sweetheart?" he said as she rushed past. "Sorry daddy! Ask mom!" she said running past. He rose an eyebrow at her comment and sighed, "Geez, so secretive today..." he said walking inside. As he did Placid and Mihari weren't to far behind.
Placid walked inside holding the door for Mihari. Placid looked at Tori and simply said "Where is she?" Tori looked over at Kaiden. "Nuriko?" he asked and Kaiden pointed upstairs. "Study with this guy..." he said going back to his book. Tori rose an eyebrow and led the three to the study, when he walked he eyed the new face sitting in the room with his fiance. As Placid made his entrance, he leaned against the wall looking rather bored.
"Ok, we are here. Whats up?"

Tomoe raised an eyebrow as the girl ran out of the room, smiling. "Children? You've been busy I see." Nuriko sighed. "You have no idea... The kid in the living room? He is the ex I told you about that got locked up. No memory of anything that happened. But either way..." Nuriko smiled, nodding." Yeah, remember how I told you I was looking for Tori? Well, I found him. Have 4 kids. The little one is running around here somewhere, and I have a boy a little younger than the girl. And my oldest is on her own already, living in one of the apartments near Mihari's." She giggled, then heard the door open. Soon after Tori, Mihari and Placid walked into the study. Nuriko smiled. As Tomoe gazed at the three, he suddenly understood why Nuriko said it wasn't Mihari she was worried about.
"Hey Tori. I didn't know you were home. And thanks for coming guys." she said, standing up to give Mihari a hug. Then Placids comment made her sigh, sitting down. She smiled again.
"This is on old friend of mine from when I was on the run. His name is Tomoe. He just moved here, and I'm helping him get situated with a place and some work to keep him busy while he's not in school." She looked at Mihari. "I remember you saying you needed some help around the Shrine? He's got ALOT of experience in tending shrines. So I was going to ask if you'd mind if he helped out with shrine chores occasionally, when he's not working for me at the maid cafe."
Mihari looked between him and Nuriko. "You could have asked me that over the phone..." Nuriko nodded, not really giving Mihari a chance to finish her question. "He is a very special case, and we wanted to bring it out in the open now as to not cause any trust issues or anger anyone for hiding things." she looked a little sad, looking away for a second before turning to Tomoe. He nodded, reaching up and pulling something off his head. As he lifted it revealed itself to be a green leaf, at the same time, his appearance seemed to change a little. He no longer had short hair, but long hair, nearly as long as Nuriko's, tied back in a ponytail. He also had ears and a long fluffy tail the same color as his hair. Nuriko smiled. Tomoe adjusted his tail so he wasn't sitting on it anymore. Mihari blinked.
"He's a fox demon? I didn't know those actually existed!" she looked kinda excited. Nuriko laughed. "Not very many of them left, especially in his color. Silver fox's are quite rare."

Placid raised an eyebrow, "So, a fox demon." he said eyeing Tomoe. Tori rubbed his head and shrugged. "Well, I guess its not that big of a deal. I mean its not as surprising as one would think given the kid in the other room killed Satan... Now he is the most oblivious thing on the planet. Doesn't get weirder than that..." Tori said smiling. He looked at Tomoe and nodded, "Names Torimichu, son of the Gaurdian Generals. You need anything you let us know." he turned to Nuriko and smiled. "I'll be around here if you need me..." he said leaving the room. Placid looked at Tomoe raising an eyebrow then left the room as well.
"How strange... A Fox Demon..."
=============================================
Hana walked inside the mansion, her eyes were red and wet from the tears. Kaiden was still in the living room studying when she sat next to him. He looked over and sighed. "Whats wrong" he asked, she turned to him and sighed, "Shes not going to make it... They said she had a severe heart attack and that with her size and age she wouldn't make it through the night..." she said standing up leaving the room. Kaiden sat there, looking outside at the moon. "You deal in cruel fates that not one man, woman, or child could understand..." he said frowning as he returned to his studies. Hana walked into the courtyard and sat at the fountain. She was worn out, the tears and the bad news. She was just worn out.
"Im sick of it all... Everyone I get happiness from is torn from me..." she poked the water, ripples starting strong and fading. "Who next? Lili? Jayden...? It seems like everyone I care about will fade... Just like these ripples in the water..." she sighed and covered her mouth, begining to sob silently. As she did, the elders voice ran through her head.
"Remember dear, no matter what people say... You are always someone's Angel..."
"An angel... No, Im no angel... If anything, I am just a taint to those around me..." she said sitting there looking at the water. Eyeing its reflections. She became bored of the emotions this Harbringer came with. Pure sorrow and torture. "Why me...?" she said to herself as she walked back inside. As she made her way inside she stopped by the living room to see Kaiden gone and Placid sitting there. he saw her and looked away. "I heard about the Librarian. I'm sorry you lost such a wonderful friend. Don't let it get you so down though. Remember, if she meant so much to you, its best you remember she is in a better place. No longer without her pain." he sai looking at her. She sighed and walked upstairs to still hear her mother and that Tomoe guy talking. Mihari had been there for awhile now too but, she wasn't that interested in speaking with anyone. She walked into the study, staying silent. She walked up to a shelf next to her mother and grabbed a book. As she did one fell, sliding next to him. She looked down at it and sighed.
"Im sorry... I didn't mean to be so clumsy...

Tomoe sighed when the two men left the room, putting his disguise back up. Nuriko smiled. "Placid is a very interesting person. He is also Mihari's lover and incredibly hard to trust people and can be overprotective of those he cares about, so I thought it necessary to come right out with him as to avoid any problems." Nuriko smiled at Mihari, who nodded back. "Understandable. I see no problem with it." Nuriko nodded, smiling.
Tomoe stood up and walked to the balcony overlooking the fountain and looked out as the two women started talking. He found this house rather calming. Maybe it was Nuriko. As he looked down, he saw the girl, Hana, sitting on the fountain alone. She looked very sad. He frowned a little. There was something intriguing about her, but he couldn't place it. He turned and walked back into the room, sitting there quietly for a while as Nuriko and Mihari talked and figured things out. Then he noticed Hana walk back into the room. When the book fell off the shelf and landed next to him, he looked down at it, then over at her. Her comment made him smile.
"Not at all. It could have happened to anyone." He stood up, walking over to where she was standing, coming up about half a foot taller than her. He reached up and put the book back where it fell from, then gazed at Hana for a minute. "You look so sad. Is everything ok? Would you like to talk? I understand if you don't..." he looked away, suddenly feeling kind of sad.

When he stood next to her his vibe made her skin tingle. "Uhm... I suppose I could talk about it..." she said trying not to make eye contact. She took her book and walked toward the door. "Join me outside if you wish. I don't really feel like being inside." she said walking back to the fountain sitting there quietly. She looked at the balcony which held the study. Something about him felt odd. His presence felt warm, inviting even. Similar to Kaiden's just more... friendly. She sighed opening up what seemed like a trashy romance novel and began to read. "How drab..." she said shaking her head closing the novel. Hoping that he would join her soon.
"Should I wait...?"
-------------------------
Tori walked into the study where his Fiance and friends were. He sat nearby just enjoying having company around. Made things more lively he felt. He sat there then smiled, "So. I suppose this means we will be seeing him alot more than ever huh?" he said looking at Nuriko, he stood up and walked into Kazuma's room, who was playing with his little brother. "Well, seems like you two are having fun huh?" he said sitting on the floor with them. Kazuma smiled at his little brother who was playing with some Dinosaur toys. "This kids gotta an imagination better than I can imagine." he said chuckling. Tori smiled, "Well, you had quite a good one as I remember." he said as the two boys giggled as Kazuma tickled him.
"So, has Hana talked to you about her friend?" Tori said, Kazuma looked at him and sighed. "No but I heard she had a heart attack, not going to make it... Its harsh ya know? Such a sweet lady too..." he said as he daydreamed a bit. Tori nodded in agreement before standing up and going back to the study, rejoining the group.
"Well. I think tonight has been quite the eventful one..."

Tomoe waited a few minutes before following her. He walked down the stairs, finding his way to the back door which lead out into the yard. She was sitting there looking at the book she had grabbed, though she seemed rather uninterested in it. He walked out into the yard and sat a couple feet from her on the fountain, making sure not to get too close. He didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. He looked at her calmly, who seemed to be purposefully avoiding his gaze.
"So what's bothering you?"
------------------------------------------
Nuriko smiled as Tori walked back into the room. Then she looked kinda sad. "I heard about Ms. Aname. She's been working in that school as long as I can remember, I know she was there when we were going there together. She used to let me take my lunches in there sometimes when I didn't feel like dealing with people."

Hana sighed, rememebring the talk her and Kotoko had earlier that day. "Its... Well, at the high school I made friends with the Librarian. She took care of my interests and such... Were were close and she treated me like I was a grandchild... Today I was walking her home and she forgot her purse at the school so I ran to get it and when I returned..." she said clentching her hands on the novel, tears starting to form. "She was being taken to the hospital..." she covered her face, "I also found out that she isn't going to live through the night... Her daughter won't come to see her and I was the only one left that was closest to her..." she said starting to sob. She turned away trying to calm down, placing the novel aside.
"Im sorry, I sound pathetic... All I can do lately is cry cry cry... That and be made humiliated in front of my peers. Either way I am in an endless cycle of either losing people close to me or being tortured by others... I am idiotic I know..."
--------------------------
Tori sighed, "Yeah I remember her. A nice woman I remember. Always made me hush in there that's for sure..." he said sighing. "Kinda sucks its happened to such a good lady..." he sat there and looked outside. "Makes me wonder if he is even getting anything out of her..." he said sighin again. He looked at Mihari and looked rather curious.
"So, you seem thrilled this new guy is gonna be around. Whys that?"

Tomoe listened to her, smiling sadly when she started crying. He sat there for a few minutes silent as he let her cry. Then he gently touched her shoulder as she was turned away from him.
"You are far from pathetic and idiotic. The way I see it, You are a very strong person. People can be cruel, and putting up with it is in no way easy. It can make you feel vulnerable and alone. And crying isn't a bad thing. It is a sign of strong emotions. So in my eyes, someone who can cry openly is a stronger person than someone who hides their tears from the world. You cried in front of a complete stranger. That earns alot of respect in my book." he watched her closely, staying a couple feet away from her.
-------------------
Nuriko smiled. Mihari looked at Tori.
"I did alot of research into the demonic races as a child, being a priestess whose parents were killed by demons. The fox demons were considered quite special. One of the only demonic races to avoid affiliation with the others as a negative form. They used to align themselves with holy blood often, mostly angels and priests/priestesses. But the silver foxes are incredibly rare, amazingly talented, and are highly revered as a good luck charm if you are close to one." Nuriko smiled.
"Tomoe is one of the last remaining silver fox demons left. And another thing most people don't know is that the fox demons were part of a peculiar sect of demons who would form spiritual contracts with holy people, angels and priestesses alike, to become their spiritual familiars. And thats how alot of the old priestesses would gain their familiars." Mihari smiled. "I got lucky and got 3 of them, 2 crows and a cat. Though the crows very rarely leave the shrine."

When he had p[laced his hand on her shoulder it made her jump a little. She blushed a little at his words and she sighed "I sure dont feel strong but... Thanks." she stood up and sighed, smiling a bit she wiped her tears away. "Thanks for listening Tomoe... We barely know one another but I feel like soon we can become great friends..." she said walking back to the door leading inside and she turned around look at him and smiling sadly and headed inside.
"Thanks Tomoe... I means alot..."
--------------------------------------
"Ah, that makes sense then him being rare and all. But, what is required for him to become a familiar? I've never actually heard much about the tales of them." he said leaning back into his seat and relaxing. He looked at the two closely, and at full attention.
"I am highly curious."

Tomoe smiled, nodding to Hana. Then followed her inside, walking into the study where Nuriko and the others were. He heard them talking about how to be come a familiar before he walked into the room. He sat on the couch where he was sitting before and relaxed.
"Spiritual and verbal contract sealed by a kiss. Has to be on the lips. Anywhere else doesn't count."
----------------------
Farther into an island, in a hidden cave on the volcano, the sounds of little feet and giggling could be heard. A woman comes running around a corner, followed closely by a young girl with red hair and bright blue eyes. She laughed as she chased her mother, who was holding a notebook.
"You can't fix my notebook, Khirai..." she said giggling at the girl. The girl looked exasperated.
"Mom, you spelled experiments wrong. This needs to be rectified. What will dad say if he finds you made such a simple error?" The woman looked at the girl, somewhat shocked.
"I'm being lectured by a child. Fine. I'll fix it. But no more trying to write in my notebooks."

Tori looked at him and rose an eyebrow, "That's some serious commitment..." he said leaning on an arm. Hana walked inside and placed the trashy novel she had grabbed back into the shelf. She turned to see everyone eyeing her, worried. She smiled sadly and sighed, looking at Tomoe.
"I will be okay... Because I know now shes going to be okay. Maybe not here on our planet... But, above..." she said smiling at him and walking past him, as she did she whispered lowly, knowing he would be the only one to hear it. "Thanks Tomoe..." she said leaving the room, heading right down to the stairs. She sat at the edge, staring at the front door. Placid looked to her and then outside, then, back to her.
"Hana, this friend of yours... Whats her name?" he asked. She looked over at him and smiled, "Kotoko Aname... She was a great friend, even with our age difference she helped me feel human. Normal..." she said looking rather happy, yet sad. He watched her and stood up. "That's very well. Im happy you could have such a friend..." he said looking toward the door. "I am going to go for a walk. If they ask, just tell them to leave me be ok?" he said, she nodded and he removed himself from the home.
"I hope you enjoy your walk!"
---------------------------------
Placid walked into town, looking at the shops that were getting ready to close up. He bought some flowers at a stall and continued his walk. His journey came to a stop as he looked at a large white building, simply labeled, 'Hospital'. He walked inside, the front receptionist leading him to Kotoko's Room.
"Shes still with us, you may be her final visitor for... Well..." she said before he nodded. He stepped inside and the receptionist left him. The window was open, a small breeze flowed in. Kotoko was laying in her bed, non-responsive. He placed the flowers next to her, looking at the countless monitors. Her heart rate was slow, her time was coming to a close here.
"She was a great friend, even with our age difference she helped me feel human. Normal..."
Hana's comment from earlier ran through his mind and he couldn't help but feel sorry for this woman. He sighed, placing his hands on the sides of her head. "I only have enough... for another... 18 years..." he said as the room glowed white. As fast as the light had come, it faded. He took a deep breath and looked at the monitor. "Beep... Beep... Beep Beep.... Beep Beep..." it rang faster. Normal. "A woman like you, who has touched the hearts of many... Shouldn't leave just yet. This may be release but... You should stay just a bit longer..." he said as he picked up the flowers. Scribbling a small note on the tag, he eyed her and sighed. Once he finished he walked out of the room. Once he did the nurse came in, then as she did she yelled for doctors. "Shes stable!? My god its a miracle!" one yelled, Placid smiled leaving the hospital, feeling rather proud.
"In my existence... I saved two people..." he said looking back at the pearl-white building, his red eyes warmly gazing at it. "And both times... Are worth it..."
--------------------
Willow sat on her cot reading an action comic. Manga flowed through the island as a popular means to get some other fun done without physical activity. The commotion between Khirai and Kira giggle. A true pair those two were, it irritated her on a deep level. She sighed as Sanya sat knitting on her cot. "Khirai!" she said holing up what appeared to be a custom made teddy bear. "Look what I made for you!" she said showing the little one the bear. Willow rolled her eyes and continued to read her Manga. Diabound looked up and smiled, "Your skills are become quite good sweetheart. Before long you will be able to make your own fashion line!" he said jokingly, he looked at Kira and smiled and leaned on one arm. "And you... You misspelled a word you should know better than anyone here other than I?" he said giving her a smirk, picking up Khirai and sitting next to Sanya. Willow leered at the group, then shut her Manga and left the cave. She sat there looking rather irritated.
"They are all a bunch of idiots... Especially you Sanya... You treat her like a sister but you are not the same... We aren't even truly family to them. We are..." she said sighing, "We are monsters..." her voice cracked as she slumped over.
"All of you are... Idiots..."

Nuriko had sat at her desk writing up a letter while they were talking. She saw Hana come in for a minute, then leave. She smiled sadly, finishing her letter. She stood up, walking to the ledge, where a raven was waiting. She handed it the rolled up piece of paper, and it flew off. She began to walk back into the room when she heard the door close and smirked a little. Placid, you're such a sap. She stood up heading towards the doorway. "I am going for a walk for a minute, it won't take long." She walked out of the house, not really paying attention to the small warning Hana had called out telling her he didn't want to be bothered. She knew exactly where he was going. Plus she had no intention of interfering anyways. She walked slowly, enjoying the late afternoon, her long black hair flowing in the breeze.
She stood outside the hospital for a few minutes before Placid stepped out, smiling to himself. She looked at him for a minute, a casual smirk on her face. "Ya know for being a cold-ass, you're a real sap." She stood there, sighed, and crossed her arms. "There was a reason I did not interfere. The woman is 81 years old. She was not expected to live much longer anyways. Plus she has endured alot in her life. Her husband died years ago of cancer, and her only child died in an accident not too long before that. There's still a chance that maybe she was ready to die. So she could be with those she loved."

Kira sat down and sighed, looking sad as Willow left the cavern. She wasn't sure how to help the girl. Khirai looked toward the cavern entrance, concerned. Then her expression changed. She looked at Kira. "Something is coming." She pointed at the cavern entrance. A few seconds later, a pitch black raven flew into the room and landed on Kira's knee. She blinked, then grinned. "Sebastian. Nice to see you again." The raven fluffed his feathers, then handed Kira a rolled up piece of paper. "Ahh, ok. Thanks." The raven bowed to her, then flew out of the room. "Such a strange man, but he was always so polite." Kira said, looking toward the entrance. Then she gazed down at the letter curiously. Opening it up, it contained a single black rose. She smiled for a second then began to read the letter to herself.
'My dearest Adrianne.
I beg your forgiveness for not delivering this news in person, but as Diabound kind of hates me, I didn't want to cause problems by showing up unwanted. Alot of things have come front lately, and I feel I should be honest with you. There was alot I could never tell you two with everything that happened. Diabound may hate me, but I've always considered you two family. More-so than my mother anyways. But thats entirely off subject.
1. This is something I should have told you thousands of years ago, but out of fear of the government finding out, I kept it secret. Kaiden has a daughter. Her name is Hikari, she is living on the island as of now. She looks just like her father. I can arrange a meeting if you wish it, I'm sure she would like to meet you two.
2. This is a bit strange, and I'm not sure how to go about this. But it seems as though during our last encounter with Nocturne, before Placid was freed, Nocturne had cast out Kaiden in an attempt to use him for his own means. Which ended up failing when Kaiden regained control of his own body. He has been living with me for the past 10 years or so, but I did not learn of him being Kaiden until recently, as he had kept it hidden from us. Though he has no memory of anything prior to the fight when he got sealed. Nearly total amnesia. And he appears to be dying. Nocturne is attempting to kill him off from the inside, but we're holding it off for the moment. Not too sure what to do at this point. He seems to think the only means of saving himself is to rejoin with Nocturne again. Tori has been keeping him alive by loaning him Parshath, and it seems to be working for the moment. There may be a way for me to restore his memories, but I figured I would get your advice on the matter. You two are the scientists. And his parents.
3. This is more for Diabound than anything, as it was mostly his experiment. The horsemen have stirred...
I also have one other thing to say to Diabound.
Thank you. For all intents and purposes, you made me the monster I am today. Even if it carries its own burdens.
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Nuriko'
Kira looked thoroughly shocked and nearly to tears by the time she had finished reading the letter. "I..." Then she held the letter out to Diabound to read.

Placid stood next to her giving her a blank stare as he would anyone else. "I know she was expecting to move on... But, I saw something. When I gave her the extra life... She was visiting with her Husband and Daughter in that light humans talk about. She was about to go, but, I persuaded her." he said looking back. "She meant alot to Hana, I figured why not give what I had left to someone who diserved it..." he said looking back at her, "When I arrived from Paradox, Nocturne had planned on killing Mihari. No remorse or anything. Luckily I took control before he could do much and gave her extra time by curing her. What I had left was no more than 18 years or so..." he said folding his arms and shutting his eyes. "...and a cold-ass? How rude..." he said smiling and starting to walk away.
"She won't remember much, she will find a way to describe who did this for her, but, she won't know it was me..."
----------------------------------------------------------------
Diabound read the letter and sat up. "Kaiden...?" he said reading it, he stood up and looked on the table to find his notes. Reading closely at what he had. "No no... This isn't correct. None of it is..." he said flipping furiously through pages of text. "None of my notes are correct." he said looking back at Kira. "That means that Project WAR is..." he stopped looking back at the table. The Vial was missing and had no trace of existing on that table.
"Wheres the blood?!"
---------------------------
Willow had made her way into the Blade's Chamber, the place had stayed vacant since the conflict that involved Thanatos. He was weak as she thought he was, pathetic even. She circled the seal, looking at every detail of it as if she was looking for some form of a loophole. It was sealed tight from Axel's chains. Nothing was breaking through them unless the souls listed were offered to the lock. She stared at it for a long while, before she heard shifting of dirt. It sounded like boots walking through patches of it.
"Who is there...?" she said looking around the dark chamber. She didn't feel anything there, no presence of Angel or Demon. She looked around and stopped. Hearing silence. As she breathed quietly she felt the wind shift behind her, and a sharp pain enter her spine. Her mouth was covered, unabling her to scream. She felt the sharp pain become cold, like something being inserted into her like medicine in a syringe. After it ended the person pushed her away, causing her to fall over. She looked up and saw nothing. Then as the dirt floated around, she could see it collecting as a person formed.
"Aye, now it appears the shoe is on the other foot now..." a voice said as she saw who it was. "Axel...?! You bastard..." she said beginning to cough of blood, which bubbled and crystallized solid. He had a smile on his face, is was menacing. He stepped forward and kneeled next to her. Showing her the vial of blood. However, it was empty.
"Do you know what this stuff does to Angels? Drives them CRAZY..." he said looking at her. "Your father killed my brother with his damned experiments... He never paid for his crimes and because it is that..." he looked into her eyes and smiled, "This is what his payment shall be. Eternal pain as I have endured for thousands of years..." he said as Willow began to cry in pain, the Black Blood flowing through her. She began to scream as her body changed. It became larger by about 3 feet and it stood there a dark crimson red crystal based creature. Shards extruded from its back, like spikes on a hedgehog. Its arms were long and sharp, appearing to be used in stabbing or bludgeoning. The creature screeched in what sounded like pain or terror, then its head rose, a pair of red eyes appeared to be glowing underneath the crystal.
"Welcome to reality Willow. This is where I make Diabound pay!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sanya sat up looking around for Willow. Something didn't feel right, "Sister?!" she said standing up. Looking towards the entrance, she rushed towards it running as fast as she could outside. Diabound looking at the table, then rushing after her. "Sanya!" he said as he reached the entrance. He stopped to see Sanya standing closeby, looking at the secret path they used to escape the Seal Chamber not that long ago. Standing by is was Axel. He smiled as he dropped something, and fading away like dust in the wind. "What the...?" Diabound said rushing towards the object and staring at it in fear. It was the Vial, empty. He looked up at the path and became worried, "Willow!" he said rushing inside to see the creature standing there, looking rather hostile.
"My god... No..." he said looking at her in fear. The creature fell to its knees, looking at its arms. "F-Father?! Whats happening to me...?!" she said crying out in pain as the body of crystal shifted and became more menacing. Diabound watched in horror as his daughter was turing into something he tried to hide from the world.
"No... I... I stopped this...! I locked it away!" he said as the creature screeched again it then became quiet. Not a sound was made until Diabound rushed to her side. Sanya watching in fear close behind him. He called to Willow, screaming her name. But, no reply. She was in a trance almost, like she was stuck standing there. Then, her voice began to ring through the hall. It sounded monotoned, like she was being controlled.
"My name. You no not my name. You scream one, yet, it is not mine. You address me as my original title. Do it now."
"Willow! Please listen to me!"
"There is no Willow. There is nothing left of what you want here. That part. That part is gone. Say my name."
"Don't do this! Come back to me Willow! Plea-!"
"Say my name."
"YOUR NAME IS WILLOW! YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER!"
The air became thin, energy ran through the seals chamber as the creture stood above him. It looked down at him, then to Sanya. Its eyes glowing, looking as if they could pierce your soul. It looked back to Diabound and spoke, the words striking complete and utter fear into Sanya as it flooded into her mind.
"My name is not Willow. My name is... My name is War."
